Good morning, PHS, and welcome to Cool 2 Scare week! There are plenty of fun activities this week, so let’s start with our sports.
This week, Cross Country State is on Tuesday up at Sugar House, and Football finals are this Friday. Make sure you go and support your friends in their sports.
This week, we also have all of our Cool2Scare activities, including dress-up days, and other school activities:
Monday is our Crazy Hat or Hair day. Come with crazy colors, styles, or the funkiest hats you've got.
Tuesday is a Grade themed dress-up day with each grade having a different dress up: 7th as Babies, 8th as ‘80s, 9th as ‘90s, 10th as Fairy Tales, 11th as Disney, and Seniors as Elders.
Wednesday is our Rock Band T-shirt day, where you can wear your favorite band’s merchandise and show it off to everyone. On Wednesday, we will also be in our Rock Paper Scissors competition, where each student will be given a necklace of beads that they will fight to earn against other students. Make sure you only play during passing periods; teachers will take your beads during class if you are playing.
Thursday is Duo day, so dress up as Iconic Duos like Bonnie and Clyde, Salt and Pepper, and even Peanut Butter and Jelly. Please be aware of any food allergies and do not bring any items that will trigger these allergies.
Finally, on Friday, we are dressing up in our Halloween Costumes, bring in your mummy wrappings, your vampire fangs, even your pointed witch hats. Masks and weapons, even fake ones, are not allowed on school property, so either leave them at home or keep them in your backpack until after school. There will also be an assembly on Friday, so be prepared for a bunch of fun activities and challenges.
