Dear Residents of Parowan:
Earlier this year, we solicited funding to pay for the lighting materials to light the P on P-hill. Many community members respond to this request with financial support and donated time. We would like to thank everyone who has donated. Certainly, a project this size does not come together without the support from the community.
I am happy to announce that we have generated enough funding through our donors to cover all of the cost of the lighting materials. I would also like to recognize a couple of our local businesses that made this project a reality. First, we would like to recognize Marshall and Evans Electric for the purchase of the lighting equipment, and its set-up on the hill. They have done an amazing job working on this project. Second, we would like to thank Parowan Market and its -Round-Up Donation- program for financial support. Without these two businesses, a project like this one would be extremely difficult to accomplish, and we can’t thank them enough.
