Thanksgiving

Tuesday before school was let out for the long holiday break, PHS students, faculty, staff, and invited guests gathered together to celebrate as friends!  Mr. Mathews, Principal Bailey, Coach Murphy, and Mr. Little prepped the Turkeys and took them to the "pit" where they were smoked overnight.  The turkeys were dug up the next morning and taken to Mrs. Stratton's classroom, where FFA members carved the turkeys as they fell off the bone.  Mrs. Berger, Mr. Jacobsen, Mrs. Sparks, Mrs. Francisco, Mrs. Wilkey, and Mrs. Memmott,  all gathered at the elementary and made the mashed potatoes and gravy!  We had Rolls provided by the Parowan cafe and delicious Pies from Costco.  (Thanks Mrs. Robison)

Students and teachers in each CCR group came up with a theme for their table and provided drinks, silverware, plates, cups, napkins, and all other small condiments.  We are grateful to continue our Thanksgiving traditions here at PHS.

(Since covid, no students provide any food- it is all provided, except for the small items mentioned above- it's a lot of work and we so appreciate the effort put in to make it happen!) A special thank you to Principal Bailey and Maggie for organizing and making this wonderful tradition happen!
