Gideon competed in Cybersecurity, while Cade competed in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure. Competing at the national level is an incredible accomplishment, and we are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and professionalism they demonstrated while representing our school.
Beyond the competition, the trip was a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect with students from across the country, and create lasting memories. We had a great time in San Antonio and are proud of these outstanding Rams!

Meet Coach Josh Maher, our new Head Boys Cross Country Coach and Head Speech and Debate Coach! 🏃🎤
Josh has enjoyed his time teaching at PHS and is excited to take on these new roles within our school programs. He competed on a varsity distance running team in college and has since raced in sprint and Olympic triathlons, adventure events, Ragnar relays, and half marathons — running is part of his daily routine, and he's eager to share that passion with our athletes.
With more than a decade of coaching experience and three region championships under his belt, Coach Maher is excited to reestablish Speech and Debate at PHS. He's bringing that same dedication and drive to cross country, where he looks forward to helping our runners set goals, work hard, grow, and build a positive, supportive team culture.

He went on to run for SUU, competing against some of the sport's best athletes and traveling the nation. Shay also served as an assistant coach for our track team this last spring, and we're so happy to have him continuing on with our Cross Country program! As a coach, he's passionate about pushing athletes to find success both on the run and in life, and he can't wait to help Parowan athletes build a great future. Welcome, Coach Shay!

Meet Hollie Steed, our new assistant cheer coach! 📣 Hollie is a BYU graduate with a B.Sc. in Exercise and Wellness, and she also earned an M.Sc. from WVU in Physical Education Teacher Education. JV brought home Silver 🥈
Varsity brought home Bronze 🥉
Varsity battled through 6 games, while JV played 5. With only 2 seniors, most of our guys played 5 games today and showed a lot of grit, toughness, and heart.
