Parents and guardians, CCR Week is coming up! This is a great opportunity for you and your student to connect with teachers, ask questions, discuss concerns, and check in on how things are going at school.

3:00–7:00 PM | Auxiliary Gym
Come by with your student to visit with teachers in an open-house setting. No appointment is needed! Stop in, ask questions, and chat with the teachers you’d like to see.

If the open house doesn’t work for you—or you’d prefer a dedicated time with a teacher—we’ve created an online sign-up form!
You can schedule as many appointments as you need with whichever teachers you’d like to meet with. You are not limited to your student’s CCR teacher.

Parents are invited to attend an evening of information and connection at the 4th annual ICSD Gifted Parent Education Night. The informational evening is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Oct. 16, in the district office board room, 2077 W. Royal Hunte Drive.
The event is designed to help families better understand the unique academic and social-emotional needs of advanced learners while providing practical strategies they can use at home. Parents will explore ways to encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and independence through meaningful conversations and everyday learning opportunities. Participants will leave with practical strategies to support their child's growth at home, including simple ways to incorporate elements of the Depth & Complexity Framework to foster creative and critical thinking while strengthening the home-school partnership.
Even if your child has not been formally identified as "gifted" please attend as this information will benefit most parents.

Please come prepared with your photo ID. 🪪
For the safety of our students and staff, THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO ENTRY INTO THE SCHOOL WITHOUT A VALID PHOTO ID — NO EXCEPTIONS.
We understand this may feel a little different here in our small community, but we have to be consistent for everyone. In following the State of Utah's School Safety Amendments, we are committed to always improving our safety measures and doing everything we can to keep our school safe.

Schools are back in session. A few safety reminders as you travel through the community between the hours of about 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* Slow to 20 MPH in a School Zone when lights are on.
* Prior to entering school zone, be aware of walking, biking students making their way to school.
* Drivers must come to a complete stop and remain stopped for any person occupying a school crosswalk — regardless of which side of the road the pedestrian is on. Do not proceed until student and/or crossing guard is on the sidewalk.
* Know the bus stops in your neighborhood. Drive slowly when approaching a bus during pick up and drop off.
* Stop! Do not pass if bus Stop Arm is out!
