I believe I would make a strong officer because I have a solid work ethic and a positive attitude. I am someone who shows up, puts in effort, and follows through on commitments. Whether it’s in sports, school, or activities, I take pride in doing my best and helping those around me succeed as well. I listen to others, respect different ideas, and try to lead by example.
If elected, my goal is to make school more fun and engaging for every grade. I want to help create activities and events that bring more students together and increase school spirit. I also want to find ways to get more people involved, whether that’s through clubs, sports, or new ideas that students are excited about. Everyone should feel like they are part of something and have a reason to participate.

I believe I would be a good student body officer because I am responsible, dependable, kind, and a little bit of a perfectionist. I also have a fun and positive personality. I like to be a little silly and help others enjoy being at school. I try to be someone people can trust and feel comfortable around. I always look for the good in others and want every single person in our grade to feel included and important.
If I am elected, I want to help our class be more involved in school activities and have more school spirit. I want to plan fun events that bring everyone together and make people feel part of the class. One of my goals is to make prom an experience that everyone can enjoy and be a part of. I want EVERYONE to help and feel included in the school events as well. I also want our class to feel like one big friend group where everyone is valued.
I'm excited to represent our class and help make this year fun and memorable for everyone!

our school, our class, our community, and the traditions that make PHS great. To me, being a
leader is about bringing people together, keeping a positive vibe, and making sure everyone feels
included. I get along well with people, and I always try to bring good energy and a sense of
humor to whatever I’m doing.
I’d make a good officer because you can count on me (and my twin) to actually put in the work.
I’m not afraid to step up, take charge, and follow through. I’m comfortable speaking in front of a
crowd and representing our class. I want to represent us in a way that shows exactly who we are:
hardworking, supportive, and proud to be Rams.
If I'm elected, my main focus will be boosting school spirit and connecting us as a class. I think it
would be awesome to get alumni more involved in our events and organize service projects and
activities that bring us together and give back to Parowan. I also want to make fundraising for
Junior Prom a priority so we can put on a night everyone is excited about. Along with that, I
want to help plan activities that students actually want to go to, like casual dances, bigger student
sections at games, and starting some cool new traditions.
We only get one shot at high school, and I want to help make it a memorable experience for
everyone. I’m committed to listening to your ideas, leading by example, and making sure our
junior year is one we can all be proud of.

I'm excited to be running for a spot as a Sophomore Student Body Representative. Having attended school here for three years, I've realised that being a student here isn't just about the classes we take, but the experiences we create together. I am someone who believes that every student's voice matters, and I want to be the one who makes sure those voices are heard.
You should vote for me because I have leadership experience. In 7th grade, I led our team to a 1st place win in the hallway during Homecoming. In 8th grade, I led our team to a 1st place win for our Homecoming Float. Both projects required coordination with other classmates and a clear vision. I pride myself on being organized, self-motivated, and deeply involved in our school activities.
Next year, my primary goals include launching a 7-12 grade Spirit Cup, a competition that turns every school event into a battle for grade-level pride and rewards. This would include a ¨Hype-Squad¨ for each grade and a ¨Super Fan¨ prize at events. I will use monthly polls to have students help choose our themes and activities. That way, we can make sure we are hosting events you actually want to attend.
I´m asking for your vote, not just because of what I've done in the past, but because of what we could do next year. I promise to represent you with confidence, transparency, and a strong work ethic. Let's make our Sophomore year the best one yet.
Vote Ellie Smith for Student Body Representative!

I make it a priority to attend school events and support my classmates because I believe being present matters. I value building strong friendships and treating others with kindness and respect. Academically, I put in consistent effort to do my best and maintain strong grades. I understand how to balance school, activities, and responsibilities, and I approach each with focus and determination.
I would be a strong student body representative because I listen, include others, and follow through on commitments. I am approachable and willing to hear different perspectives, which helps me represent more than just one group of students. My goal is to help create an environment where all students feel involved, respected, and heard.
If elected, I plan to increase student engagement by promoting school events more effectively through announcements, posters, and direct communication so more students are aware and encouraged to attend. I also want to introduce more student-driven activities, such as interactive lunchtime events and opportunities for students to get involved in planning. In addition, I will work to regularly gather student feedback through surveys or conversations so ideas and concerns can be shared and acted on.
I am confident, motivated, and ready to represent my class with integrity. I will work hard to make a positive impact and be someone my peers can rely on.

If you’ve worked with me, you know I stay calm when things get busy. I like hearing different viewpoints and finding the overlap so we can pick a direction and actually move towards it. I’m organized, I follow through, and I don’t disappear when a decision is hard. I’m not trying to win arguments; I’m trying to build solutions most of us can stand behind.
Outside of school stuff, you’ll usually find me at soccer, at cheer practice, or just hanging out with friends. Soccer taught me how to communicate fast and keep a team connected. Cheer taught me trust, timing, and how details make a routine work. Hanging out with friends reminds me why this all matters—school should feel like a community, not just a schedule.
How I’ll help make this year better:
More “right-size” events that don’t take your whole afternoon—mini game days, quick lunchtime activities, pop-up spirit moments.
Study support before big tests—peer-led review meetups and quiet rooms to focus.
Theme days that are planned with clubs so more people see themselves in our events.
A simple way to share ideas and see what happened with them, so when you speak up, you know it counted.
If you want a Vice President who listens, stays organized, and turns your input into action, I’d be honored to earn your vote.

Someone who takes initiative, listens carefully, and follows through on what I start.
Being involved in teams and school activities has given me a strong sense of pride in our school and community. When I’m competing in sports or cheering on our athletes, I’m not just representing myself. I’m representing Parowan High. Those experiences have shown me how
much our town supports each other and how important it is to give that same energy back. I care about this school because I’m part of it, and I take pride in making it a place where people feel connected, supported, and excited to be involved. That pride is a big reason why I’m running. I want to give back to a community that’s already given me a lot over the last 6 years.
One of my strong traits is leadership. I have experience with leadership, as I’ve been a football team captain and president of my deacon’s quorum. Whether it’s in group projects, sports, or everyday situations, I stay focused and make decisions that keep things moving forward. I’m also approachable and honest. If you have a concern, I’ll actually hear you out and take it
seriously. Being an officer isn’t about popularity. It’s about responsibility, and I’m ready for that.
I’m confident in my ability to lead, but more importantly, I’m committed to serving. If you want someone who will listen, act, and represent you with purpose, I’d appreciate your vote.

I’ve spent the past two years learning what it takes to lead, and I am ready to do it again. I listen, I respect every voice, and I make sure ideas actually turn into action. I work well with others, and I am an easy person to talk to. Whether we are close friends or not, your voice matters to me. I believe my classmates and peers should be able to see me as trustworthy and someone they can always come to with problems, concerns, or suggestions.
I have a creative mind, and I hope to do my part at PHS by using my voice and ideas to increase student participation. I want to create spirit weeks people actually get excited about, with new dress-up themes and activities like grade competitions, socials, and events everyone can participate in. I also hope to be a voice for my classmates. Your concern is my concern; I want no student's ideas to go unheard.
Everyone has a place at PHS, a right to be heard, valued, and represented. Let me represent you! Vote for Alayna!

My name is Damon Townsend, and I am proud to be running for 8th-grade president at Parowan High School. Both of my parents graduated from PHS, and that gives me a strong connection to this school and community. I care about our school and want to help make it the best it can be for everyone.
I believe I would be a great president because I am a leader who leads by example. In 6th grade, I was a Cool to Care ambassador at Parowan Elementary, where I helped create a positive environment and encouraged others to be kind and involved. I am someone who includes others and works to make sure everyone feels like they belong.
I am also very involved as an athlete, playing baseball, basketball, and football. Being part of a team has taught me responsibility, teamwork, and how to stay committed. I also manage the baseball team and attend as many PHS events as I can because I enjoy supporting my school and bringing energy to our activities.
Academically, I am a strong student with a 3.9 GPA, and I am working hard to reach a 4.0. I take pride in my work and believe being a good student is an important part of being a good leader. I can also lead out on a fundraiser that will help make money for our future dances and activities.
As president, I will encourage more students to get involved, support school events, and help create a positive and united school culture. I want to be someone students can count on. That is why I believe I would make a great 8th-grade president.

I am friendly, disciplined, and organized, and I’ve worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA this year. I’m involved in cheer, dance, and softball, which have all helped me learn teamwork, responsibility, and how to stay committed. I love cheering on the Rams and participating in school activities, and I plan to continue showing up and supporting our school as much as possible.
As a member of the class presidency, I want to continue the fundraising efforts by selling more cotton candy and by helping to open the concession stand during baseball and softball season to help raise even more money for our class. I want to help create a fun and inclusive environment by encouraging more students to participate in dress-up days, supporting our teams in the student section, and attending all school events. I would also love to do more socials after home games and help organize 7th & 8th grade dances. I want everyone to feel included, have fun, and make great memories during our last year of “middle school”. I am honored to be able to represent our class and promise to work hard to make next year fun, successful, and full of school spirit!

I currently serve as the 7th-grade class vice president and am the last remaining member of our original class presidency. This experience has shown me what leadership looks like. I helped lead a fundraiser where we raised $800 by selling cotton candy at basketball games, an idea I created. I used my own machine, paid for supplies myself, and dedicated my time before and during each game to make it successful. That experience taught me that leadership means stepping up, being creative, and putting others first.
I support our school by regularly attending plays and sporting events, including football, basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, and wrestling. Showing up helps build school spirit and support our peers. I’m also actively involved in volleyball, softball, and cheer.
Next year, I want to build on what we’ve started by continuing our fundraisers and expanding concessions to baseball and softball season. I believe we can work together to make our class and PHS an even better place.

State placement was determined by combining results across all three titles—Rocket League, Super Smash Bros., and Mario Kart—and thanks to consistent, strong performances across the board, Parowan held its own and even outperformed much larger schools.
To make it even better…
🏆 Rocket League – Region Champs
🏆 Mario Kart – Region Champs
🥈 Super Smash Team – 2nd place
💥 Super Smash Team – 4th place
Not bad for a program in its very first season 👏
Huge shoutout to Mr. Edwards and Mr. Maher for the time, effort, and leadership it took to build this program and guide these teams to such an incredible finish. This is just the beginning for Parowan Esports!
