Children need healthy meals to learn. Iron County School District offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.75; lunch costs (K-5) $2.75, (6-12) $3.00. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Reduced price is $.30 for breakfast and $0.00 for lunch for the 25-26 school year. Join Iron County School District for a patriotic concert on Friday, July 4. Two performances are scheduled at Canyon View High School at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. This Country features familiar music from Aaron Tippin, Brad Paisley, Randy Travis, Blake Shelton, Brooks and Dunn and Toby Keith. On the guitar and lead vocals is Superintendent Dr. Lance Hatch. He will be joined by Cole Stanley, CVHS Student, on lead guitar; Ellis Lambeth, CVHS student, on drums; Freya Carlson, a paraprofessional at East Elementary, on bass; Holly Thornton, Post High teacher on the fiddle and Jacob Chipman, CVMS choir teacher on piano/vocals.

At today’s awards assembly, we were thrilled to celebrate several incredible achievements! Coach Macey Yardley was honored with the 2A Gold Star Coach of the Year for Sportsmanship—a well-deserved recognition for her outstanding leadership and integrity. Congratulations, Coach Yardley! We also had the privilege of recognizing two exceptional athletes as they take the next big step in their volleyball careers. Paige Felder will be heading to Columbia, Missouri to play for Mizzou, while Taylen Yardley is off to Gillette, Wyoming to join the Pronghorns. We are so proud of both of you and can’t wait to see all you accomplish at the next level. Best of luck—and congratulations!

The Battle of the Bands/Talent Show is still open for registrations. Your talent doesn’t have to be music, but it must be school-appropriate. The talent show will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday near the football concessions area. Admission is $3, but performers get in free. The Summer Games and Chalk Dance(Closing Social) will be held on Wednesday, 5-7 pm, on the football field. We will start with our competition, then have the chalk dance. Attendance to this event is free, but chalk costs $2 per bag.

Our Cool2Care Ambassadors have been busy shopping for prizes for our end of year drawing!  Keep earning those  Cool2Care cards!

Battle of the Bands! Monday, May 12th, from 5-7 pm on the west side of the football field. Admission is $3. Students can register to perform by filling out the form in their PHS student body canvas course. We hope to see you there!!

Join us for the PHS Youth Track and Field Camp at Parowan High School, hosted by PHS Track and Field! This camp is designed for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students who are interested in learning the fundamentals of track and field. The camp will take place on May 8th and 9th from 3:00-4:30, and registration is just $25, which includes a camp T-shirt. It's a perfect opportunity to develop new skills, make friends, and have fun!
