Hello parents, students, and community members,
On Monday, Parowan High School has the pleasure of hosting Utah State Governor Spencer Cox. The visit is the second stop on the governor’s “Connecting Tour” where he is meeting with high school students in an effort to listen and learn from the next generation. His goal is to visit all 29 counties in the state before the end of the year. His first visit was with Tooele High School students.
We are grateful for the opportunity this gives our students to actively engage with our state’s political leader. The auditorium at Parowan High School has limited seating. As such, our first priority is to reserve the space for our entire student body to participate. With our student body population, as well as invitations extended to other high school student body officers in the county and school, city and county dignitaries, there will not be seating to host other individuals.
Thank you for understanding and supporting us in this unprecedented chance for our student body.
**WE ALSO ASK THAT ALL OF OUR STUDENTS "DRESS UP" (wear special clothes, something that is more formal than everyday attire)
